Colonnade BridgePort has signed on as the 2022 lead sponsor of Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa’s Women Build initiative – a fundraising program that gives women the chance to empower themselves and others by raising money and building homes for future Habitat families.
Colonnade BridgePort has been supporting Habitat Greater Ottawa for many years with in-kind development management services; as well as sponsorship of the annual gala and various fundraising campaigns; and most recently, participating in Team Build Days. This is the first time the company has sponsored Women Build.
“Habitat Greater Ottawa’s mission of bringing communities together to help families build strength, stability and self-reliance through affordable homeownership strongly resonates with who we are and what we do at Colonnade Bridgeport,” says CEO Hugh Gorman. “We are proud of our history supporting the organization and excited to be championing Women Build.”
Habitat Greater Ottawa recently completed a build in east Ottawa that is now home to eight local families. It will break ground on its next project in Kemptville, Ontario this summer.
