Under his direction, Colonnade BridgePort has evolved into Ottawa’s largest privately-owned real estate services company now overseeing more than 15 million square feet across Ottawa, the GTA and Southern Ontario, and Atlantic Canada. The firm also currently has three multi-residential projects under construction in Ottawa with a development pipeline of $2B and is actively fundraising for two new real estate funds – one focused on new development in Ottawa, and one focused on value add properties in secondary markets.
An award-winning contributor to the Canadian real estate and business communities, Hugh is currently the incoming Chair of the Ottawa Board of Trade, the co-chair of the Ottawa Downtown Champions table focused on building a stronger, more resilient downtown core; and a member of the University of Ottawa Board of Governors. Hugh previously served as president of both BOMA Ottawa and BOMA Canada, and spent two years on the BOMA International Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort’s executive team, Andrew held positions as Head of Real Estate Investments – Americas at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), Executive Vice President and COO of TrizecHahn Development, and President and CEO of both StorageNow Holdings and Parkbridge Lifestyle Communities.
As Chief Financial Officer, Kyle oversees all aspects of corporate services at Colonnade BridgePort.
Kyle has raised more than $600M in debt and equity for development projects and real estate investment funds including the construction of more than 1,300 residential units. Operationally, he has overseen the expansion of Colonnade BridgePort from one province to five and from 5.5M square feet under management to more than 15M.
Kyle was instrumental in the successful integration of Colonnade and BridgePort following the 2016 merger. Continuously searching for the most efficient way to achieve client objectives, Kyle foresaw a future that was driven by data and analytics. Since 2018, Colonnade BridgePort has been developing proprietary technology to provide clients with data driven recommendations to achieve their asset strategies.
Prior to becoming CFO, Kyle served as Controller, and then as Director, Finance and Corporate Services.
Before joining the Colonnade BridgePort team, Kyle was the Assistant Controller for IFS (formerly MXI Technologies), and previously a Senior Accountant at Deloitte. He is a designated Chartered Accountant (“CA”) and Chartered Professional Accountant (”CPA”) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Carleton University in Ottawa.
With over 35 years of experience, Ian’s reputation in the world of commercial real estate is second to none. He is a highly valued member of the senior leadership team at Colonnade BridgePort, and in his current role as Executive Vice President, Special Projects, Ian leverages his wide global network and deep industry expertise to help build the business.
Ian has been directly involved in commercial real estate as a broker, investor, developer, and real estate services provider, focusing on major markets across Canada. Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Ian held leadership positions at many major firms, including Jones Lang Lasalle, Oxford Properties, Enterprise Property Group and Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ Canada). During his tenures, he has transacted over $3.8 BN worth of leasing and sales transactions. Prior to the merger with Colonnade, Ian was a Principal of BridgePort Realty Capital Partners through its formative years, leading its expansion into the Greater Toronto Area. Ian has also participated on various boards over the years, such as BOMA Toronto, NAIOP, Scarboro Golf & Country Club, Royal St. George’s College, Cancer Ontario, and North York Harvest Food Bank.
Marshall plays a pivotal leadership role on the CBP Capital team, raising and deploying capital while providing high-net-worth investors, family offices, and institutional partners with opportunities to participate in institutional-quality developments and investments across Ottawa, the GTA, and Atlantic Canada.
Marshall has over 15 years experience in real estate investment and capital markets, most recently spending over a decade as the lead investment officer of BGO’s Canadian platform, where he completed more than $4 billion in transactions. Prior to that, he was a key member of the corporate finance team at First Capital REIT.
With over 20 years of experience, Ron is a multi-disciplined real estate professional responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to Colonnade BridgePort’s real estate management services business including Property Management, Leasing and Construction Management, in both our Commercial and Residential portfolios. As a proven leader and trusted industry expert, Ron and his team are focused on delivering insightful real estate management services strategies to all our clients with a focus on disciplined execution and value creation in the assets we manage.
Ron honed his real estate skills on the institutional side with Minto and Standard Life before transitioning to the private side with an Ottawa based investment and management company, Progeny, which later became BridgePort Realty Capital Partners. At BridgePort, he served in various operational and leadership capacities, contributing to the overall growth of the company’s portfolio. Ron is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and is an active member in numerous industry organizations, including BOMA. He also volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health, where he assists with fundraising.
With over 20 years of experience, Kelly is a seasoned real estate professional overseeing CBP’s development efforts, including a $2 billion multi-family residential pipeline across Ottawa’s transit-oriented communities.
Active in the Ottawa region since 2005, Kelly has played a central role in the delivery of several large-scale mixed-use projects. She is passionate about addressing the city’s growing housing needs and is known for her ability to navigate complex development projects and zoning processes, manage project timelines, and foster strong relationships with stakeholders, consultants, and community partners.
Her collaborative approach and track record of execution have made her a sought-after expert in Ottawa’s development industry.
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Kelly is active with BOMA, serves on the board of the Bruyère Foundation, chairs the Royal Ottawa Foundation’s golf tournament, and is a founding member of WiLD, mentoring women in land development.
As Vice President, Leasing, and Real Estate Broker of Record, Brent is responsible for the performance of the commercial leasing team. Brent oversees the lease management and retention of a diverse range of retail, office, and industrial properties across Ontario. By working closely with asset managers and private owners, Brent ensures all leasing programs meet and exceed expectations in terms of both asset performance and strategic business objectives.
Brent began his career with JJ Barnicke Ltd in the Greater Toronto Area in 2001 and joined Colonnade BridgePort in 2007. Since then, Brent has become an integral part of the Colonnade BridgePort team, providing first class client support and bringing a strategic understanding of commercial lease management. Backed by industry experience in both Ottawa and Southern Ontario, Brent brings over 20 years of lease negotiation and execution experience for both public sector and private sector tenancies in all commercial real estate asset classes.
Nathalie leads the company’s people strategy and oversees initiatives that support employee engagement, organizational development, and a strong, inclusive workplace culture. She partners with leadership to align people and culture strategies with the company’s broader business objectives, helping to support the continued growth and evolution of the organization.
Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Nathalie served as Director of Human Resources at CENGN, where she led the HR function for several years. Earlier in her career, she held progressive People & Culture roles at Calian and the Southway Hotel, building broad experience across talent strategy, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Fully bilingual and recognized for her thoughtful, people-focused leadership style, Nathalie is known for her ability to strengthen organizational culture while supporting high-performing teams.
With expertise in real estate development, finance, and acquisitions, Joost has managed investments in infrastructure and development projects exceeding $600 million. He refined his skills for many years in his native Netherlands before moving to Ottawa, where he most recently served as Director of Capital and Director of Finance – Acquisitions with Regional Group.
In his role at Colonnade BridgePort, Joost leads the company’s investment management functions, collaborating closely with the development team to execute on active projects.
Passionate about planetary health and sustainability, Brandon is dedicated to eco-friendly real estate solutions. In his role at Colonnade BridgePort, he aligns client ESG needs with actionable strategies, leveraging his technical and project-focused background.
Previously, he spent a decade at BentallGreenOak, delivering numerous sustainability projects and chairing several initiatives. Brandon has been a strategic planner for various ESG organizations, an industry contributor, and instructor. He’s a member of the US Green Building Council’s LEED Committee and has served on multiple other environmental committees.
Notably, Brandon secured Canada’s first Net Zero Carbon Building certification and was named one of Ottawa’s Top 40 Under 40. He continues to contribute to community wellbeing through regular blood donations.
A creative and relationship-focused business leader, Catherine brings a people-first approach to her role overseeing Colonnade BridgePort’s marketing and client relations. By collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand where the company’s services and client objectives intersect, she has built a track record of developing partnerships that are based on the long-term goals of each, as well as ensuring the company’s brand and marketing are true to its commitment to enhance the communities in which it operates.
With more than 20 years of senior management experience, Catherine has a demonstrated ability to lead high-performance, growth-oriented teams. Fourteen of those years were at the helm of Twist Marketing — a Calgary-based marketing firm that she founded and grew into a national leader in destination and economic development marketing. Committed to industry best practices, consultation excellence and community building, Catherine holds a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation, provided sound governance as a board member of a number of not-for-profit organizations in Calgary, and served as President of her local Toastmasters chapter.
An experienced accountant, Derek plays an important role in guiding Colonnade BridgePort’s strategic financial decisions by overseeing budgeting and reporting processes for all aspects of the business. As a member of the company’s leadership team, Derek’s managerial, technical, and communications expertise; along with his ability to motivate and foster an environment of open collaboration and problem-solving, makes him an invaluable voice to have at the table.
Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort in 2022, Derek was an audit manager at a leading accounting firm where he received his CA and CPA certifications. Derek holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Ottawa.
Outside of work, Derek combines his accounting skills with his passion for soccer as treasurer of a local non-profit soccer club which manages 40+ teams annually.
An accomplished real estate professional, Mike oversees the property management, operations, and leasing platform for Colonnade BridgePort’s portfolio of commercial real estate in Atlantic Canada. Leading the execution of asset strategies and ensuring tenant satisfaction, Mike’s ability to foster strong relationships and deliver exceptional service will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth in the region.
Mike is a Western University alumnus and holds both MBA and HBA degrees, along with various professional designations, including his RPA. He is also a licensed realtor in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
Lynn is responsible for overseeing the strategic and day-to-day operations of Colonnade BridgePort’s commercial real estate portfolio in Ottawa.
An industry veteran with a track record of strategic leadership and execution in the property management field, Lynn has significant expertise in the commercial asset class. She has held several key managerial positions throughout her career with both local and institutional organizations.
Lynn has been an active member with BOMA for over 25 years and last served as chair for the awards committee. She has also served on multiple industry-related boards and committees, including the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce. Lynn is passionate about sustainability and has worked on LEED, BOMA BEST, and FitWel certifications.
Jas has been instrumental in establishing Colonnade BridgePort’s Mississauga office and the growth of its business in the Greater Toronto Area. As Director, Property Management (GTA), she oversees the company’s GTA property management and operations, with a focus on building a scalable property management platform in the GTA and Southern Ontario. Key to this has been her passion for developing high-performing, responsive teams and building long-term relationships with industrial, office and retail clients of all sizes.
In addition to being an integral member of Colonnade BridgePort’s Extended Leadership Team, Jas shares her knowledge and experience with leaders across the company as part of its Operations Committee. She also works closely with key institutional clients to ensure the company is positioned to meet the needs of the dynamic GTA market and is active in the community as a BOMA Toronto Principal member. A holder of the BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University, India, Jas held senior property management roles at real estate management companies in Toronto and the UK prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort.
Paul is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience in real estate and Big Four public accounting. As a CPA, he leverages deep expertise in financial analysis, strategic planning, and operational efficiency to enhance portfolio performance, drive value creation, and deliver actionable, data-driven insights that support sustainable growth.
Paul works closely with CBP’s property management, leasing, and development management teams to ensure the successful execution of asset strategies.
A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, along with CPA and CA designations.
Kandas is a seasoned and strategic property management professional with a passion for the human side of the business. Under her guidance as the Director, Residential Real Estate, her team manages the day-to-day operations of Colonnade BridgePort’s residential portfolio, with an emphasis on providing tenants with vibrant living environments through superior customer service and operational excellence. In addition to growing the company’s residential processes and procedures into a scalable platform, she is also involved in development projects at the design phase to ensure they are aligned with her vision of what makes a Colonnade BridgePort property not just a building, but a community in which tenants can thrive and grow.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Kandas was vice president at an Ottawa-based property management company with a focus on residential assets prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort. While there, she worked in all areas of residential property management, from leasing and portfolio management to business development and investor relations. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, Kandas is a licensed real estate broker and holds a registered condominium manager designation.
Warren is a seasoned real estate accountant whose financial, managerial and communication expertise, combined with his ability to create a culture of collaboration, positions him as a valuable member of the leadership team.
As Property Accounting Controller, Warren oversees the property accounting team, working closely with clients to ensure the financial objectives of their assets are realized. He also plays an active role in key account management, developing and nurturing relationships with clients’ financial teams, as well as asset and fund managers.
Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, in January 2019, Warren held positions with Regional Group and Tamarack Developments.
Outside of the office, Warren donates his time as accountant for Nepean Minor Hockey Association. He is passionate about his family, and his main hobby, cycling. Waren has won a national time-trial championship and provincial titles, and now spends time coaching his daughter and other kids in the Ottawa Bicycle Club mountain bike program.
Colleen is a seasoned property management professional with a passion for cultivating robust relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, establishing herself as a leader within the organization.
Colleen joined Colonnade BridgePort’s property management team in 2002, and her continued growth and leadership were recognized in 2023 when she was promoted to her current management role. Her focus on collaboration, efficiency, and achieving shared goals is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation and growth of the business. Colleen’s dedication to planning, coordinating, and optimizing administrative procedures demonstrates her proactive approach to supporting the organization’s objectives.
With close to two decades of experience as a marketing and communications professional, Rachal has established herself as a valued member of the leadership team.
With a keen eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to achieving results, Rachal is responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing programs that drive customer engagement and brand awareness. She oversees all aspects of the firm’s marketing communications, including advertising, public relations, and digital marketing.
Rachal has a Masters Degree in Journalism from The University of Western Ontario.

With over 20 years of experience running IT departments internationally, he has guided organizations through complex system transformations and operational modernization. He believes IT is not a support function, but a strategic driver of business performance and growth — and he builds technology ecosystems that create measurable impact.
