Colonnade BridgePort is pleased to welcome Brandon Malleck, Vice President Innovation, ESG and Advisory Services.
Passionate about planetary health, environmental sustainability and human well-being, Brandon has a deep commitment to changing the way real estate impacts the planet.
In this new role with Colonnade BridgePort, Brandon will work with clients to understand their ESG needs and collaborate with both internal and client teams to plan and implement strategies to achieve their sustainability objectives. With a strong technical, operations and project-focused background, Brandon brings valuable insights to each project that aligns actions with broad, long-term strategy in practical and effective ways.
Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Brandon spent 10 years at BentallGreenOak, where he delivered hundreds of sustainability-related projects of varying budgets, size, and complexity within existing occupied facilities. He also served as chair and member of various BentallGreenOak national initiatives including ESG Innovation Lab, Property Technology Strategic Committee, Electric Vehicle Strategy, Environment Committee, and Future of Buildings Research Project.
Throughout his career, Brandon has participated in strategic planning for several ESG-oriented organizations and has been an active industry contributor and instructor. He is currently a member of the LEED Existing Building Consensus Committee for the United States Green Building Council; and was formerly a member of the LEED Canada Steering Committee for Canada Green Building Council, and the BOMA Energy and Environment Committee. He also previously served as chair of the Ottawa Sustainability Fund, and Envirocentre.
Amongst his many accomplishments, Brandon was responsible for Canada’s first Net Zero Carbon Building certification; was recognized as one of Ottawa’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Ottawa Business Journal; and has made 72 blood donations (and counting).
