Hugh Gorman

Chief Executive Officer

A recognized leader in Canadian real estate, Hugh is committed to helping clients get the best possible return from their invested capital. Over more than 25 years in the industry, he has dealt in every aspect of the real estate lifecycle, from investment and development to management and leasing.

Before becoming CEO of Colonnade BridgePort, Hugh was co-founder of BridgePort Realty Capital Partners. His career began at Canderel in 1991. From there, he advanced through progressively senior positions at  Camdev, O&Y Properties and finally Oxford Properties, where he was Vice President Industrial, Canada, and Vice President Global Principal Investment.

An award-winning contributor to the Canadian real estate and business communities, Hugh has served as president of both BOMA Ottawa and BOMA Canada. He also spent two years on the BOMA International Executive Committee.

Greg Johnston

Greg Johnston

Executive Vice President, Property Management

As Executive Vice President Property Management, Greg is responsible for protecting the integrity of the clients’ assets, and overseeing every aspect of property management, including client representation, onboarding of new assets, tenant services, operating budgets, reporting, capital improvement projects, and implementation of new technologies.

With over 30 years of industry related experience, Greg is a proven leader in the commercial real estate industry. His attention to detail, dedication to client and tenant satisfaction, and extensive knowledge of property management are among the standout qualities he brings to his position. Greg’s tireless efforts have helped grow the company’s property management practice across all asset classes over the past 20 years.

Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Greg held senior management positions with Cadillac Fairview, Viking Rideau Corporation, Canderel Limited and Oxford Properties; as well as with two of North America’s most prominent shopping centres: the Toronto’s Eaton Centre and Ottawa’s Rideau Centre.  Greg has been a member of BOMA-Ottawa for the past twenty-six (26) years and previously sat on the BOMA-Ottawa Board of Directors

Mark White

Executive Vice President, Leasing & Business Development

Mark White is a widely respected commercial real estate professional who has been instrumental in the expansion of Colonnade BridgePort’s property management portfolio from 850,000 square feet to its current size of almost 9 million square feet of assets under management. In his role as Executive Vice President, Leasing and Business Development, Mark is responsible for execution of leasing, marketing, and business development, ensuring the activities of these teams are driven by client needs and objectives.

Mark’s ability to create value from unique and interesting opportunities is one of his strongest qualities, and has been the backbone of his 30-year career, which includes the leasing of more than 2.5 million square feet of new design/build facilities, more than 3 million square feet of public sector lease transactions, and more than 10 million square feet of private sector lease transactions. Mark is passionate about family, sports, and contributing to his community in meaningful and long-lasting ways. As Director on the Foundation Board of Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital, Mark has been responsible for the raising of hundreds of thousands of dollars for Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia research.

Ian Boake

Executive Vice President, Special Projects

With over 35 years of experience, Ian’s reputation in the world of commercial real estate is second to none. He is a highly valued member of the senior leadership team at Colonnade BridgePort, and in his current role as Executive Vice President, Special Projects, Ian leverages his wide global network and deep industry expertise to help build the business. 

Ian has been directly involved in commercial real estate as a broker, investor, developer, and real estate services provider, focusing on major markets across Canada. Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Ian held leadership positions at many major firms, including Jones Lang Lasalle, Oxford Properties, Enterprise Property Group and Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ Canada). During his tenures, he has transacted over $3.8 BN worth of leasing and sales transactions. Prior to the merger with Colonnade, Ian was a Principal of BridgePort Realty Capital Partners through its formative years, leading its expansion into the Greater Toronto Area. Ian has also participated on various boards over the years, such as BOMA Toronto, NAIOP, Scarboro Golf & Country Club, Royal St. George’s College, Cancer Ontario, and North York Harvest Food Bank.
