Colonnade BridgePort recently participated in two Build Days with Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa at their Titus Landing development. Employees got their hands dirty parging, pouring concrete, installing appliances and bike racks, and completing other tasks.
“If you think this group works hard in the office you should see them with a hammer and some power tools,” said Colonnade BridgePort CEO Hugh Gorman. “Thanks to the entire Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa crew.”
Due to COVID, this was the first time in over two years that Habitat Greater Ottawa was able to host Build Days. Families will be moving into the stacked townhouse units in July.
“First for me and not the last,” said Property Accounting Controller Warren MacDonald of his experience. “Colonnade BridgePort really stepped up this week to help build and better our communities!”
Habitat Greater Ottawa will break ground on its next build in North Grenville in Fall 2022.
Colonnade BridgePort has been supporting Habitat Greater Ottawa for many years with in-kind development management services, as well as sponsorship of the annual gala and various fundraising campaigns. It is proud to now also be participating in Build Days.
