This special award is aimed to encourage those in the industry to improve the environmental footprint that commercial and institutional buildings have on our world. It acknowledges the outstanding efforts and achievements of the “unsung heroes” who are championing sustainability at any level within their organization and/or across the commercial real estate community.
The award was presented at BOMA Canada’s National Awards Gala in Vancouver on September 25, as part of BOMEX.

Lynn champions ESG principles, advocating tirelessly for sustainable practices that benefit communities and future generations. Her leadership aims to elevate industry standards and promote environmental responsibility across property management practices, making a lasting impact on sustainability in commercial real estate.
“By including sustainability in our strategies and practices, we create lasting value for the properties we manage, and enhance long-term investment performance for our clients,” said Lynn. “I am honoured to be recognized for my commitment to ensuring our buildings contribute positively to the future of our communities.”
A member of BOMA for over 25 years, Lynn has chaired the awards committee, and has held influential roles in the Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC), CREW, and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce.
“Lynn’s passion for sustainability is unwavering,” said Brandon Malleck, Vice President, Innovation, ESG & Advisory Services. “There is no doubt she will continue to be proactive in finding impactful ways to improve the environmental footprint of commercial real estate, and inspiring others to do the same.”
