Hugh Gorman

Chief Executive Officer

A recognized leader in Canadian real estate, Hugh is committed to helping clients get the best possible return from their invested capital. Over more than 25 years in the industry, he has dealt in every aspect of the real estate lifecycle, from investment and development to management and leasing.

Before becoming CEO of Colonnade BridgePort, Hugh was co-founder of BridgePort Realty Capital Partners. His career began at Canderel in 1991. From there, he advanced through progressively senior positions at Camdev, O&Y Properties and finally Oxford Properties, where he was Vice President Industrial, Canada, and Vice President Global Principal Investment.

An award-winning contributor to the Canadian real estate and business communities, Hugh has served as president of both BOMA Ottawa and BOMA Canada. He also spent two years on the BOMA International Executive Committee.

Greg Johnston

Vice President, Property Management

Attention to detail, dedication to tenant satisfaction and extensive knowledge of property management are among the standout qualities Greg brings to his position at Colonnade BridgePort. His efforts have helped grow the company’s property management practice across a diverse portfolio of office, retail and industrial real estate.

Since starting his career at Cadillac Fairview in 1987, Greg has managed some of North America’s most successful regional shopping centres, including Toronto’s Eaton Centre and Ottawa’s Rideau Centre. He has also held management positions with Viking Rideau and Canderel, gaining experience in virtually every sector of commercial real estate.

Mark White

Vice President, Leasing

Mark oversees the marketing and leasing of Colonnade BridgePort’s entire property management portfolio, ensuring each property’s leasing program meets the goals of the owners’ asset thesis. Combining his knowledge of commercial real estate development, leasing and management with in-depth understanding of local market trends, Mark works closely with property owners and asset managers to achieve their targeted results.

Mark began his career in residential real estate at Canada Trust in 1984, moving to the commercial side of the industry two years later as a sales and leasing representative. Over the years, he has helped negotiate the leasing of more than 2.8 million square feet and shepherded the completion of more than 2.5 million square feet of design–build and other development projects.

Ian Boake

SVP, Business Development

As a valued member of the senior leadership team, Ian brings over 35 years of commercial real estate experience to his role. In his position as Senior Vice President of Business Development, Ian leverages his expertise, global network and outstanding reputation to build the business.

Ian has been directly involved in commercial real estate as a broker, investor, developer and real estate services provider focusing on major markets across Canada. Prior to Colonnade BridgePort, Ian worked for companies such as, Jones Lang Lasalle, Oxford Properties, Enterprise Property Group and Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ Canada). He has transacted over $3.5 billion worth of real estate transactions and was one of the Principals of BridgePort Realty Capital Partners.

Ian has participated on various boards over the years, such as BOMA Toronto, NAIOP, Scarborough Golf Club Royal St. George’s College, Cancer Ontario and North York Harvest Food Bank.

Richard Getz

Vice President, Retail

As Vice President, Retail, Richard brings a well-rounded approach and a wealth of experience to the Colonnade BridgePort team. He is a respected industry leader with involvement in every facet of the business. His connections to the national retail community is invaluable to the company’s retail and mixed-use portfolios.

This is Richard’s 37th year in the shopping centre industry in Ottawa. He began his career with Campeau Corporation, followed by several years as a part of the Rideau Centre management team. After 16 successful years of commercial brokerage in retail leasing, development and sales, he joined Colonnade BridgePort (formerly Colonnade) in 2004.

Throughout his career, Richard has been an active volunteer to the benefit of numerous organizations. He is currently an advocate for and a board member of the Royal Ottawa Foundation for Mental Health.

Lisa Courtney Lloyd

Vice President, Marketing

Combining creativity with clear thinking, Lisa sets the marketing and communications strategies that strengthen Colonnade BridgePort’s reputation as one of the most trusted real estate investment and management companies in Ontario. She leads the company’s integrated marketing programs, focusing on delivering customer value and supporting leasing functions.

Lisa brings to the table more than 25 years of experience working at a variety of start-up and publicly traded companies, including senior leadership roles with terra20, Jolita Communications, Celtic House Venture Partners and FastLane Technologies.

In 2012, Lisa received a Gold Quill Award for excellence in business communications from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). She currently serves as an evaluator for IABC’s international awards program.
