Mark White

Executive Vice President, Leasing & Business Development

Mark White is a widely respected commercial real estate professional who has been instrumental in the expansion of Colonnade BridgePort’s property management portfolio from 850,000 square feet to its current size of almost 9 million square feet of assets under management. In his role as Executive Vice President, Leasing and Business Development, Mark is responsible for execution of leasing, marketing, and business development, ensuring the activities of these teams are driven by client needs and objectives.

Mark’s ability to create value from unique and interesting opportunities is one of his strongest qualities, and has been the backbone of his 30-year career, which includes the leasing of more than 2.5 million square feet of new design/build facilities, more than 3 million square feet of public sector lease transactions, and more than 10 million square feet of private sector lease transactions. Mark is passionate about family, sports, and contributing to his community in meaningful and long-lasting ways. As Director on the Foundation Board of Elizabeth Bruyere Hospital, Mark has been responsible for the raising of hundreds of thousands of dollars for Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia research.

Brent Arseneau

Director, Office Leasing, Real Estate Broker of Record

As Director of Office Leasing and Real Estate Broker of Record at Colonnade BridgePort Realty, Brent is responsible for the lease management and retention of a diverse range of retail, office, and industrial properties. By working closely with asset managers and private owners, Brent ensures all leasing programs meet and exceed expectations in terms of both asset performance and strategic business objectives.

Brent began his career with JJ Barnicke Ltd in the Greater Toronto Area in 2001 and joined Colonnade BridgePort in 2007. Since then, Brent has become an integral part of the Colonnade BridgePort team, providing first class client support and bringing a nuanced understanding of commercial lease management. Backed by industry experience in both Ottawa and Toronto, Brent focuses primarily on Ottawa and the surrounding region, but also provides regular guidance to Colonnade BridgePort’s GTA team.

Scott Craven

Director, Industrial Leasing

As Director, Industrial Leasing, Scott brings a wealth of experience and 30+ years of trusted leadership to the leasing team. His nuanced understanding of the leasing industry allows him to execute mutually beneficial deals for brokers and landlords alike. 

Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Scott spent 10 years as a property manager at Oxford, during which he refined his approach to leasing and to the commercial real estate industry as a whole. Since joining the Colonnade BridgePort team, Scott has been awarded the BOMA Volunteer of the Year (2012) and earned his designation as Real Estate Sales Representative.

Paul Miller

Leasing Manager, Sales Representative

As a highly experienced Leasing Manager, Paul is responsible for a portfolio that includes 12 buildings across the Ottawa region. His excellent interpersonal skills have enabled him to strengthen Colonnade BridgePort’s position as an industry leader and to build meaningful relationships throughout the commercial real estate world. His unique ability to balance the competing needs of landlords and tenants results in Paul regularly completing mutually beneficial deals and identifying a range of new opportunities. 

Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort in 2010, Paul held senior positions throughout the Ottawa real estate industry for more than 35 years. During this time, he worked on a wide range of private and public sector projects and represented the leasing interests of a variety of commercial developments. Additionally, Paul has been a licensed sales representative for more than 30 years.

Director, Retail Leasing, Real Estate Broker

Since joining Colonnade BridgePort in 2014, Fraser has emerged as one of the industry’s leading retail leasing experts. In his role as Director of Retail Leasing / Real Estate Broker, he focuses on the company’s extensive retail and mixed-use portfolios, including the leasing of retail and office space, and the overseeing of retail development projects in Ottawa, Peterborough, Richmond Hill, Cambridge, Burlington, and Hamilton. Fraser’s exceptional market knowledge allows him to stay ahead of the always-changing retail environment. His close attention to detail results in carefully executed transactions in compliance with the overall asset strategy for each property thereby creating maximum value for his clients.

Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Fraser worked with a private equity investment fund, managing approximately 2.7 million square feet of retail and office projects in Ontario and New Brunswick. As a respected leader in the retail leasing community, Fraser has moderated the 2018 and 2019 Ottawa Real Estate Forum panels on Understanding the Ottawa Retail Market and sits on the board of directors for the Orleans Business Improvement Area (BIA). He is also a certified RECO professional, a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a candidate for Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and an alumnus of University of Ottawa.

With more than 25 years experience in all areas of commercial real estate, Colin is a highly competent senior executive and business development leader. With tenures in both private and public companies — including as Director of Leasing for Brookfield Properties and President of DTZ Canada — Colin is skilled in marketing and leasing properties, navigating complex lease negotiations, handling operations, and managing high-profile accounts.

Colin also brings the valuable experience of having been owner and operator of Mohr Partners, a boutique real estate brokerage firm in the GTA. Colin’s extensive industry expertise will be instrumental in helping to grow the Colonnade BridgePort management platform in the GTA and beyond.

Chris Turvill

Leasing Manager, Sales Representative

Chris has a unique perspective on the Ottawa leasing industry, understanding the trends that drive it and the analytics that help explain it. In his role as Leasing Manager with Colonnade BridgePort, Chris tailors his strategies to best match the ever-changing market, relying on measurable data and industry knowledge to execute mutually beneficial deals in the office and retail sectors of the leasing portfolio. 

Chris joined Colonnade BridgePort in 2017. Previously, he was honing his research skills at an Ottawa-based commercial brokerage for 10 years as a research consultant. During his tenure, he became a licensed sales representative, working primarily with development land and commercial leasing. Chris is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centres, and to deepen his understanding of the Ottawa market, he completed the City of Ottawa Planning Primer Course.
