Dave Boelsma

Dave Boelsma

Manager, IT

As Manager of IT, Dave oversees all aspects of data management and information technology within Colonnade BridgePort. Leveraging his extensive industry knowledge and technological expertise, he determines the best security, communications, software, and hardware protocols for the company, ensuring each element of IT functions safely and allows for the effective attainment of Colonnade BridgePort’s organizational mandates.

Dave joined Colonnade BridgePort in 1996, beginning in property management and IT support roles before transitioning into a full-time technology capacity. Dave is a graduate of Algonquin College and has a  Masters Certificate in Business Analysis from Carleton University.

Chris Coleman

Director, Asset and Investment Management 

Chris is an established leader in the commercial real estate industry, bringing the highest level of industry expertise to Colonnade BridgePort. With more than twenty years of experience in investment + asset management, property acquisition, development, financing, and property management — including retail, office, mixed use, and industrial — he has excelled at every level in public real estate companies and fund management firms. 

As a thoughtful and analytical executive, Chris believes deeply in the value of team collaboration and prides himself on finding creative solutions in ambiguous environments. Prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort, Chris thrived in a number of high-profile roles, including as Senior Vice President, Investments and Asset Management at LaSalle Investment Management, and as Vice President, Investments, Portfolio Management at SmartCentres REIT. The unparalleled industry experience that Chris brings to the table will be paramount in applying Colonnade BridgePort’s business successes to the GTA market and beyond.

Jaspreet (Jas) Kaur

Director, Property Management (GTA)

Jas has been instrumental in establishing Colonnade BridgePort’s Mississauga office and the growth of its business in the Greater Toronto Area. As Director, Property Management (GTA), she oversees the company’s GTA property management and operations, with a focus on building a scalable property management platform in the GTA and Southern Ontario. Key to this has been her passion for developing high-performing, responsive teams and building long-term relationships with industrial, office and retail clients of all sizes.

In addition to being an integral member of Colonnade BridgePort’s Extended Leadership Team, Jas shares her knowledge and experience with leaders across the company as part of its Operations Committee. She also works closely with key institutional clients to ensure the company is positioned to meet the needs of the dynamic GTA market and is active in the community as a BOMA Toronto Principal member. A holder of the BOMI Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Delhi University, India, Jas held senior property management roles at real estate management companies in Toronto and the UK prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort.

Stephen Martin

Director, Development

Stephen is expertise personified — the kind of proven executive that can bridge private and public sectors, navigate complex bureaucracies, and deliver timely results. Backed by 30 years of industry experience, Stephen has excelled in all areas of the development process, including asset acquisition, design + delivery, and residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use property operations. As an accountable corporate representative, Stephen is known for not only delivering large-scale projects — ranging from $5 million to $460 million — but also for being an articulate and thoughtful leader who develops winning teams and mentors upcoming professionals.

As Director of Development with Colonnade BridgePort, Stephen oversees every aspect of development project execution, from front-end planning through approvals, underwriting, and end-to-end value creation. A skilled communicator with extensive industry knowledge, he is a rigorous, agile planner with a rare ability to anticipate challenges and maintain momentum. Stephen previously held senior management positions at Canderel, Giffels, Minto Commercial, and CBRE Project Management. He also holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a Gold Seal certification as a member of the Canadian Construction Association.

Kandas Miller

Director, Residential Real Estate

Kandas is a seasoned and strategic property management professional with a passion for the human side of the business. Under her guidance as the Director, Residential Real Estate, her team manages the day-to-day operations of Colonnade BridgePort’s residential portfolio, with an emphasis on providing tenants with vibrant living environments through superior customer service and operational excellence. In addition to growing the company’s residential processes and procedures into a scalable platform, she is also involved in development projects at the design phase to ensure they are aligned with her vision of what makes a Colonnade BridgePort property not just a building, but a community in which tenants can thrive and grow.

Born and raised in Ottawa, Kandas was vice president at an Ottawa-based property management company with a focus on residential assets prior to joining Colonnade BridgePort. While there, she worked in all areas of residential property management, from leasing and portfolio management to business development and investor relations. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Kinetics from the University of Ottawa, Kandas is a licensed real estate broker and holds a registered condominium manager designation.

Catherine Proulx

Director, Marketing & Client Relations

A creative and relationship-focused business leader, Catherine brings a people-first approach to her role overseeing Colonnade BridgePort’s marketing and client relations. By collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand where the company’s services and client objectives intersect, she has built a track record of developing partnerships that are based on the long-term goals of each, as well as ensuring the company’s brand and marketing are true to its commitment to enhance the communities in which it operates.

With more than 20 years of senior management experience, Catherine has a demonstrated ability to lead high-performance, growth-oriented teams. Fourteen of those years were at the helm of Twist Marketing — a Calgary-based marketing firm that she founded and grew into a national leader in destination and economic development marketing. Committed to industry best practices, consultation excellence and community building, Catherine holds a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) designation, provided sound governance as a board member of a number of not-for-profit organizations in Calgary, and served as President of her local Toastmasters chapter.

Sara Seymour

People & Culture Manager

Sara is a people-focused leader who brings a strong business perspective along with empathy and a passion for people to the HR team. She is responsible for the development and execution of our employee value strategy, which is our philosophy about putting people first and with that, delivers strategic initiatives to positively impact the employee experience.  In addition to executing the strategy, Sara is also accountable for HR operations and is deeply involved in the planning and implementation of the overall business strategy.   

Sara’s HR career began in Calgary in the oil and gas industry where she developed strong people and business skills and rapidly advanced her career. In 2016, Sara joined the Colonnade Group, quickly growing into a leadership position within the HR team and successfully completed critical projects such as internalizing HR within Colonnade BridgePort and its affiliate companies.
